Job description

Intel Security is looking for a content expert to join our Safe Identity Solutions Product Marketing team. The Product Marketing team manages marketing and communications for products in market that eliminate the hassle of passwords. This position includes, but is not limited to customer communications, online product communities, and in-product content development. The Community Manager is the face of our product, manages communications to our users, and collaborates closely with our Product and Design teams to create product content. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor with experience in digital content management and community moderation. This is a full-time position reporting to the Product Marketing Content Manager.

While every day as a Content & Community Manager is different for our developing product, this is what the role's responsibilities may include:
1.Content creation - writing in-product copy, blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
Understand and explain complex product concepts in a clear, helpful and human manner that reflects our product brand
Anticipate our customers' support needs to author and maintain easy-to-follow, closed-loop help content that includes articles and customer communications
Effectively prioritize various streams of content requests using transparent methods and smart resource management
Evaluate and drive overall content management architecture processes
Understand and achieve content management goals for measuring success
Evaluate the internal knowledgebase to ensure content is current and accurate
2.Customer relations - managing customer perception as a Community Manager, responsible for managing online feedback forums such as GetSatisfaction pages
3.Social media management - managing product perception through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties
4.Analytics - Use quantitative and qualitative feedback to optimize messaging and customer experiences through product and online communications

Desired profile

At least 3 years' experience as technical writer or technical content developer; this is not an entry-level position or a marketing role
Portfolio that shows both your ability to explain difficult concepts and your skill at creating easy-to-follow, comprehensive procedures; provide a link to your portfolio with your application
Exceptional writing and editing abilities with strong command of English and grammar
Excellent communication skills
Strong document design and information management skills
Ability to explain best practices for providing customer self service
Proficiency with GitHub and online community software
Passion for helping people find solutions
Comfort editing the writing of others as well as receiving feedback on your own writing
Interest in consumer electronics, software and apps
Experience with localization a plus
Experience in one or more of these areas: help and support content, content management workflows, editorial quality assurance and online operations at a tech company
Flexibility, a strong work ethic and a good sense of humor are also essential
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or related discipline required
