Job description
The Oregon Logistics Team is looking for a Logistics Coordinator in support of PTD/FSM (Fab) and/or other Business units that are customers of CPLG/GLO. The person in this role will be supporting Oregon Non-Finished Goods & Capital Transportation and storage operations, including:
- Logistics capabilities development in support of Fab (e.g. PTD, Intel Mask Operations) or Finished Goods operations (e.g. Mobile Computing Group, Intel Media, Intel Labs, or others)
-Capital Equipment Transportation, Inventory Management and/or Capital Storage operations (e.g. relocation or disposition of Capital inventory, Warehouse footprint reduction, , etc...)
- Transportation and 3PL Supplier Management, which includes developing suppliers, managing suppliers and interfacing with suppliers on day to day operations management.
- Optimization and cost-savings programs in partnership with Supply Chain or other partners (e.g. GSM, Corp Services, Supply Planning Organization)
The ideal candidate is a person who has experience in Transportation & Warehouse Ops, is familiar with Intel's Wafer and Die Logistics ops and can easily interact with counterparts and stakeholders in Global ATM & FSM sites. Knowledgeable with Intel's Capital tool specifications and has experience working with and managing suppliers, Logistics providers, customers and OEM's. The person in this role will be required to work in a demanding and fast-changing environment, demonstrate speedy decision making to meet aggressive deadlines, and drive effective communication with our stakeholders. Experience in logistics and supply chain processes and the ability to work independently to drive results are key to being successful in this role.
Desired profile
Bachelors in Supply Chain, Business or similar discipline
Experience in one or more of the following:
-Warehouse & Transportation Management
-Supplier Management
-Ability to communicate effectively with both tactical/technical team players as well as laterally (partner groups)
-Problem-solving
-Prior experience supporting or directly working in/with Intel PTD or FSM (Factory stakeholders)
-Lean/Six Sigma
-MS Office including intermediate Excel
-Analytical skills
