The Life Safety Systems LSS Technician role is to provide AZ Corporate Services leadership in support of life safety systems including but not limited to smoke detection, subfab specific leak detection and evacuation alarm systems. The LSS technician role is to ensure the continual successful operation of the life safety systems, to perform regular preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance where required. It is also a requirement of this role to support life safety systems. The role will also require Emergency Response team participations, LSS team engagement, and flexibility of schedule quarterly to complete refresher training. The candidate will be required to work a compressed day work week schedule.

The schedule will consist of three twelve hour days in a row followed by a fourth day every other week.

Your responsibilities as a Life Safety Systems LSS Technician will include but are not be limited to:

·  Perform preventative maintenance and testing of campus smoke and heat detection systems as prescribed by local code.
·  Participation on various CS safety teams and the LSS VF team.
·  Learn and engage in Emergency Response Team protocols for safety of personnel as a priority.
·  Support LSS Engineering requests for support of complex issue resolution and corrective maintenance.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Must Have Skills): AA/AS degree in Mechanical or Engineering Technology or related field and experience in operation, preventative maintenance and testing of life safety systems including but not limited to smoke detection, subfab specific leak detection and evacuation alarm systems. This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only.
