Intel's Silicon Photonics Product Division (SPPD) is looking for an experienced Yield/Si Integration Engineer to own health of all products coming out of Internal Fab and external Foundries.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Own and deliver Silicon Photonics products to meet SPSG cost, quality and yield targets.
· Assumes responsibility for products after transfer into high volume production (post PRQ)
· Partner with Fabs to resolve Quality/Yield issues, drive continuous improvement roadmaps for Yield, Quality and Cost projects. Act as divisional POC for Fabs.
· Debug process/ product/ test interactions to find solutions and drive improvements.
· Drive improvements requiring product and/or test tweaks to improve yields and quality.
· Keep close pulse of health of fabs and assembly sites by partnering in various product/process related forums.
· Work closely with component development team for transferring process/products from development to manufacturing.
· Debug and resolve complex excursions and yield limiters by providing product expertise.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
· The successful candidate must have MS with 4+ years of experience or Ph. D with 2+ years of experience in engineering working in the areas of semiconductor process technology, yield/integration engineering.
· Good understanding of device physics and device product interactions.
· Demonstrated capability debugging/resolving complex issues related to product/process/test interactions.
· Demonstrated experience to work with cross functional teams and driving solutions to improve yield, quality and cost.
· Capability of using Statistical tools and software such as JMP.
· Experience with silicon photonic fabrication and optical device physics knowledge is preferred.
