ResponsibilitiesBusiness Systems Analyst serves as a strategic function within Altera's IT enabling improvements in corporate business processes through leveraging information and technology tools and solutions. The BSA team defines and influences information and associated business strategies, designs and develops solutions to achieve the strategic outcomes, and coordinates with the IT development team to ensure reliable deployment and support of these solutions.As a BSA intern, you are primarily responsible for engaging business and IT teams across corporate IT ecosystems to enable core BSA functions such as BSA project management methodology and standardization, production incidents and enhancements assistance, KPI report development on various measurements and advanced analytics, and regression testing for various standard releases.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field Familiarity with Software Quality Assurance methods and techniques Demonstrated knowledge of web development technology and use of sharepoint designer Familiarity with the software life cycle development SDLC methodology and its practice Familiarity with ERP Package solution in the area of finance, sales and Marketing, planning, or Engineering and operations function Strong understanding of Analytics and reporting Strong problem solving skills and attention to details Strong organizational and documentation skills using MS office products Visio, Excel, Project, etc Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with global cross functional teams Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and guidance Familiarity with the SaaS tools for issue tracking and test management Exposure to the analytics tools and language like Tableau, SQL is a big plus
