Software Development Engineer-Cloud Application Security

Job description

In our development center in Paderborn, Germany, we are looking for an experience development engineer who has worked on big data or other large scale systems.

Desired profile

This individual will:

· Work from a high-level architecture, lead the implementation of an integrated data processing workflow, linking open source technologies with internally development components.

· Work with cloud and on-premises product teams to understand data flow and locations and security concerns of information providers.

· Divide and coordinate tasks with other development engineers

Must have:

· Experience with streaming data solutions (Spark, Storm), log management/messaging tools (Kafka) and no-SQL data stores (Cassandra, HBase, etc.) or similar technologies.

· Several years C++ experience

· Agile development experience

Nice to have:

· Database, Data Warehousing, or enterprise reporting experience

· Information Security or Web Security experience

· German proficiency
