Job description

A Industry Technology Specialist (ITS) is an Application Engineer who works as an integral part of the Internet Cloud Service Provider team. This position will focus on design win and design in activities at our clients for NVMe SSDs and future memory technologies.

The ITS will work in a team environment with BDMs, factory Platform Application Engineers, Product Marketing Managers, Planners and Architects to assist customer product planning, engineering, and debug. The ITS will remove any technical or marketing barriers to the adoption of Intel products and will grow revenue by driving preference for Intel technologies and solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Intel's design engagement with several of our clients engineering teams, The scope of this role includes managing current generation designs, educating the customer on next generation products and long range product roadmaps across Intel product portfolio, and resolving issues during design or in production. The individual will also drive specific technology proof-of-concepts and pilots with customer engineering teams. They will also manage all software and performance optimization to maximize the adoption of new Intel platforms and technologies.

The ITS should be able to prioritize engagement opportunities as well as secure the necessary resources required to be successful. They will be responsible for managing the customer interface by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals, and providing excellent pre and post sales customer support.

The ITS will need to be able to articulate the value of Intel technologies and solutions to the customer, and also be able to convey customer's needs/asks back to the Intel business units.

Desired profile

Qualifications & Experience:

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science disciplines with 3+ years of experience in engineering or applications support, preferably with Intel Architecture CPU's, boards and/or systems.
