The Visual and Parallel Compute Group (VPG) is seeking passionate software developers to join our team delivering stunning, immersive and new visual experiences enabled by Intel Graphics Technologies. As a Graphics Software Engineer in VPG, you will be responsible for contributing to various aspects of driver development and optimization.
Primary responsibilities include:

- Effectively working with cross-geo teams spanning software development, validation engineering, hardware/software architecture, performance analysts and other support teams to create, innovate and deliver cutting edge hardware and software platforms
- Demonstrating a structured approach in design, development and verification of device driver features and enhancements for modern graphics and compute APIs, and operating systems including Windows and Linux
- Analyzing graphics hardware and software performance for graphics and machine learning/computer vision applications on existing hardware and future platforms
- Implement driver-based optimizations, engage with external SW partner ecosystem on driver features and optimizations
- Continuously enhance graphics drivers for currently shipping platforms to deliver compelling visual user experiences

This is a entry level position and will be paid accordingly.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering Or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science of Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering and 1+ year of experience)
1+ year background and experience in C/C++
1+ year solid understanding and experience developing applications that target graphics processors

Preferred Requirements (nice to have):

1+ year hands on graphics driver development, experience with SW technologies like DirectX, OpenCL, OpenCV or other compute APIs
1+ year Graphics industry familiarity
1+ year Cloud compute experience
