Job description
The Content Marketing Team at Intel Security (a business unit within Intel Corp.) is looking for a talented, hard-working (and fun-loving) Graphic Design Intern to help coordinate, produce, and manage templated collateral (data sheets, solution briefs, white papers, reports, etc.), production schedules, template specifications, in addition to providing support for other creative design projects, including infographics, banners, icons, signage and other graphics for use in social media and on other internal and external domains. May also provide creative support for PowerPoint presentations, in addition to other creative projects. Will also be responsible for learning and executing the Intel Security brand and providing and/or coordinating brand reviews with all internal clients.
This internship will be 40 hours per week during the summer, with the potential of continuing at 15-20 hours per week during the school year.
Job Responsibilities
-Communicate conceptual ideas and design concepts to internal clients and external agencies.
-Collaborate and work with cross-functional, content marketing and solution marketing teams to produce brand-compliant design and creative solutions.
-Capable of working and collaborating with executives, internal clients, and outside agencies.
-Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects while effectively managing and communicating timelines, reviews, and expectations in a fast-paced environment.
-Understand technical concepts and convert them into easily understandable design concepts.
Desired profile
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a BS graduating in 2017-2018 with a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Marketing, or related field.
- At the level of BS only, must have unrestricted right to work in USA
- Minimum 3 months experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) (Mac or PC Platform).
Preferred Qualifications:
- A portfolio featuring examples of graphic, visual, or interactive design work a plus.
- Microsoft Office experience a plus (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
