Qualifications:
You must possess a Bachelor's degree (Hon) in Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or minimum of FETAC Level 8 equivalent.
Job Description
In this position, you will be an engineer working on the facilities systems on the Ireland Campus as part of the Ireland Corporate Services group reporting to the UPW area manager.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Role modelling a commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence at a competitive cost.
· Be the primary owner for Facilities UPW unit operation(s).
· System owner for sustaining and continuous improvement of existing systems. Accountable for system operations, maintenance procedures, and reliability.
· Supports projects, factory task forces, cross-site teams, cross-discipline teams, factory module Teams,
· Conceptual design of all new Ultrapure Water Systems and installations & start-up (commission) of new installations and upgrades
· Owns any small projects which will be necessary to cover any capacity issues, safety concerns or energy savings measures. Owns driving these projects and ensuring that the designs and equipment specifications meet Intel Standards.
· Drives cost & energy effectiveness. Supports budget owners by forecasting spends & analysing vs. actuals
· Supports Technician Training & Certification programs
· Technical support for material, spare parts, supplier issues, service contracts.
· Strong problem solving ability. Ability to handle multiple tasks
· Ability to work with minimum direction, self-motivator with own initiative.
· Must be able to work in a team environment and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
· Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and explain data to both technical and non-technical forums.
Additional experience that would be an advantage:
· Excellent analytical aptitude for engineering problem solving and innovative design engineering
· Project management, verbal communications and presentation skills.
· A good understanding of material & chemical properties, automation, quality systems and statistical analysis
· Excellent computer skills
