Intel has an exceptional opportunity for a Front End Developer/Software Engineer! This role includes design, development and implementation of an application framework on top of Intel's cognitive computing platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features and UI components for the application framework

Contribute to the product design process

Collaborate with team members and product managers

Participate in weekly update meetings

Delivering on both projects and support tasks in a dynamic environment

Developing concise and clear technical design documents within the agile development process

Intel Labs, the New Business Initiatives group (NBI), the Perceptual Computing Group and the New Devices Group (NDG). Additionally, New Devices Group and the New Business Initiatives group were combined into the New Business Group (NBG) which nests into NTG.

Desired profile

Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
3+ years of development experience with strong working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and some server side programming languages such as JAVA, groovy, etc
Additional Qualifications:
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and AJAX
Good understanding of modern web frameworks and tools, such as Bootstrap, Foundation, Riot/React, Grails, Spring, Web Components and Node.js
Familiarity with SQL, relational databases

Preferred Qualifications:
A solid foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
Knowledge of Web Application Security and Spring Framework.Analytical problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira
