The Programmable Solutions Group PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for great engineers to join our teams.As an SoC Design Engineer in the FPGA High Level Design HLD Compiler team you will be responsible for improving the Intel FPGA OpenCL and HLS tool chains. The work involves a diverse set of technical challenges including designing and implementing compiler optimizations to transform high level code into highly optimized FPGA designs, implementing support for new language features in our HLD tools, and creating and optimizing reference designs.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences
Minimum Qualifications:

- Must have a BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field- Experience with data structures and algorithms
- Full programming experience such as C/C++/Java
- Applicants must have a legal right to work in the Canada without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

- 3 years of experience in C/C++
- Experience with digital design optimization
- Experience with the LLVM compiler tool chain
- Experience with OpenCL
- Knowledge of compiler optimization techniques
