Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as test, checkout, modifications of specialized test hardware/equipment and supporting software/scripts. Conducts reliability demonstration tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work. Provides first-level SSD failure analysis. Independently diagnose complex failures and report. Develop script automation solutions to address complex tasks/issues. Utilization of IPC and Flexstar PCIE/SATA tester equipment. PC, TWIDL and FW troubleshooting. Communicate issues and plan regularly with engineers/technicians on a regular basis. Develop an understanding of multiple products and testing requirements. Identify and address efficiency gaps. Create and maintain best-known methods through documentation. Work well independently and within groups.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

·  Must have the permanent unlimited right to work in the US.
·  Must possess an AS degree with 3 years of industry experience working with PCIE and SATA Solid-State Devices within the context of testing, operations and first-level failure analysis.
·  3 years of experience with PCIE/SATA Solid-state devices within the context of reliability testing, firmware, first-level failure analysis, triage, and troubleshooting.
·  Experienced with developing and editing Python and BASH scripts for the purpose of automating testing and repetitive functions.
·  Experienced with Linux operating systems including installation, navigation, file creation/editing, share mounting, debugging and scripting.
·  Familiar with PC architecture - including motherboards, power supplies, BIOS, add-in cards, SSDs and networks.
·  Experienced in setup and platform debugging including software and firmware.
·  Experienced with Microsoft Server setups, SQL Management Studio, query creation, Microsoft operating systems, PC back-ups and Networking.
·  Proficient documentation and the use of Microsoft Office tools.

Nice to Have Requirements:

·  Experienced with other scripting and programming languages such as C++ and Java.
·  Experienced with the use of IPC and Flexstar PCIE/SATA testers is a big plus.
