We are Intel's unmanned aerial vehicles UAV team and we need YOU to make our products fly! Formed by recent acquisitions, we are a small but successful startup within Intel and operate in a highly dynamic and largely independent environment. We are looking for a passionate Drone Software Engineer to help us in enhancing our flight planning applications and make them more sophisticated to better match our unique customer needs. Being part of a team that creates new solutions for existing and for future customers, you will adapt, enhance and improve the product to match challenging demands. Desired profile

Qualifications

·  We are looking for a passionate, self-starting individual with a wide focus and the ability to grasp the big picture. At the same time, we require you to deliver to the highest standards in your respective field. Ideally, you have:
·  Strong proficiency in C++, with fair knowledge of the language specification
·  Thorough knowledge and experience with the Qt (must have criteria) application framework and the Qml (as a plus) user interface markup language.
·  Experience in embedded systems design and low-level hardware interactions
·  Experience in continuous integration and unit testing
·  Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git.
·  Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
·  Experience in path planning, mapping and geospatial algorithmics is a plus
·  Good command of English, both written and oral
·  Ideally good command of German
