Job description
As a CAD R&D engineer at Intel, you will join a development team for circuit simulation and stdcell characterization to innovate and advance the algorithmic techniques for broad classes of stdcell, analog and I/O designs. You will also be given access to the most advanced process technology to evaluate process file readiness and coordinate the PV flow enablement in order to meet the rapidly evolving requirements for designing and manufacturing silicon products. Solid training in graduate studies is critical for success in this role.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a MS or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or closely related Computational Science and Mathematics.
Candidate must have 6 + months of work or educational experience in the following:
• Numerical algorithms as applied to transistor-level circuit simulation and device modeling, including state of the art optimization techniques and matrix solvers
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
