About us We are an award winning supplier of business telephone systems based in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.
The Opportunity
This is a rare & exciting opportunity for a keen and ambitious individual who will not be left short when it comes to understanding and becoming an expert in Telecommunications.
Initially the role will involve data cleansing. You will be working within a telesales team contacting potential customers by telephone with a view to obtain specific information. Your working day is spent on the phone making outgoing calls based on a scripted guideline. During each phone call, you are likely to gather and document information about the customer. Maintain and update records in our CRM system accurately and in accordance with data protection requirements. To carry out data cleansing to provide accurate information and support for marketing campaigns and to increase new business opportunities.
Once proficient with data cleansing and having demonstrated a confident and comfortable telephone manner, the role will progress to booking appointments for the field sales team. This will involve the use of various sales skills and techniques including objection handling and closing.
Work experience requirements: - Ideally some experience in a customer related environment or job related course work.
Skills and interests: - Excellent communication and listening skills, both verbal and written - A polite, confident and friendly manner - Initiative - Confidence using computers - To enjoy working with customer and building relationships - A positive attitude - Flexibility and quick thinking - Perseverance and the ability to respect customer’s answers - To enjoy working within a target-driven environment
Education Requirements: - GCSE’s in English Language and Maths or equivalent
