Graduate Social Media Paid Internship - TV Production - London

Job description

This is a 3 month internship with the potential to convert to a permanent job. You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.

A digital media company producing creative, innovative and engaging football focused content for the web. By telling untold football stories they create genuine audience engagement with the fan based communities which fuel it. The company strongly believe in the power of connecting young audiences with their passions through film and partnerships with major brands who are looking to engage with those audiences, such partners include Adidas, HTC and Hyundai.  

How can your intern expect to spend their day?
This is an exciting time to join the business as they launch a TV drama series on Sky and NBC. You will join the social media team responsible for building followers, hype and social media engagement around the launch and continuation of the show. You will learn from industry experts how to successfully do this and have a lot of fun along the way. 

Tasks interns can expect to learn about and undertake include:

- Writing copy for social media platforms. 
- Generating visual assets (GIFS, Jpegs) for distribution (Photoshop/Illustrator skills required). 
- Responding to conversation and building buzz throughout the series. 
- Connecting with influencers and publishers on social platforms.
- Developing creative ideas to amplify content.

Tell us about your ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:
This internship most suits a recent graduate passionate about social media and digital marketing, a passion for video and television production would be a bonus too.  

Desired skills, education and experience:

- Educated to degree level. 
- Passionate about all things social media and digital. 
- A digitally savvy individual who lives on social media and enjoys creating GIFS, engaging posts or images to share. 
- Experience using Photoshop and Illustrator. 
- Any previous work experience using social media to grow followers would be advantageous.
