Job description
This is a 6 month paid internship offering a pro rata salary of £17k per annum. You must have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role.
Our client is an innovative and growing consultancy specialising in Real World Evidence (RWE) solutions for the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare. They are at the forefront of the latest developments within the industry and work with decision makers at the major pharmaceutical companies and alongside influential healthcare professionals. Their projects generate data that drives positive patient, clinical and commercial outcomes.
A typical day would be:
- Creating and running sales campaigns
- Writing and designing content and communications
- Supporting the development, delivery and management of projects
The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree, equivalent or higher qualification within a relevant science discipline
- The candidate should preferably have 1 to 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing or medical writing within a business to business function (preferably within the pharmaceutical or health care industry).
- Extensive working experience with MS Office applications: Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Ability to originate and develop creative designs/graphics
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and social media e.g. MailChimp, Twitter & LinkedIn
- Follow up marketing campaigns to develop sales leads
- Research skills and the ability to draw upon data from disparate sources
- Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise workload, attention to detail
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve set targets
