Information Security Consultant - ISO 27001 - 3 month contract

Inspire People have an urgent contract requirement for a Pan-European Network Service Provider based in Central London.

An Information Security Consultant who is experienced in performing risk assessments, gap analysis and developing risk management / mitigation plans. The output of the assignment is to highlight areas of concern, quantify the level of risk and develop a set of recommendations. The assignment will also require trips to Czech Republic & Bulgaria.

The ideal profile for the Information Security Consultant:

• ISO27001 - Lead Auditor and/or Lead Implementer
• Knowledge and understanding of Operations functions supporting cloud environments would be beneficial
• Experience in developing processes in alignment to ITIL best practice, to enable organisations to have adequate security controls to meet obligations under the EU Data Protection Directive
• Background in the telecommunications sector - greatly appreciated
• Prior experience of working for a systems integrator (Tier 2)
• A practical and pragmatic approach to security
• Excellent written & verbal communications skills
