We have a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in new product development. The opportunity is for a Graduate Design Assistant to work with the Designer, Assistant Buyer, Senior Buyer, and Director. The role will be varied and offer the opportunity to be involved in R & D, Graphic Design, Product Photography and Product Design.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Research product opportunities; new releases, market trends and competitor activity
• Assist with graphic design of packaging and marketing material
• Working with suppliers and manufacturers
• Taking and editing ofproduct photographs

Skills required:

• Degree in the design industry with skills in Graphic Design, Photography, Research, and a proven creative flair
• Must be well organised, focused and able to balance a number of projects at once
• Excellent attention to detail
• Very good IT Skills with proven experience of Adobe creative suites specialising in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator
• Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office; especially Excel
• Ability to work well under pressure and deliver against deadlines
• Ability to work efficiently, on own initiative
• Good working knowledge of using a DSLR camera to take quality photographs an advantage
