ING Financial Markets (dealing room) is seeking a talented TMT Credit Research Analyst to further strengthen its developed markets Credit Research and Strategy team based in Amsterdam.

Job description
This front office role offers research support to both internal clients (among others, credit sales and trading, as well as Debt Capital Markets) and external institutional clients across platforms and media. This role has a publishing element with responsibility for both company and sector research and collaboration with ING's Debt and Credit Strategy teams in various fixed income periodicals.
Corporate credit sector coverage will be determined based on experience and needs of the team but TMT experience is a strong preference. Please note that bank analysts will not be considered. The role will cover credit along the curve from investment grade through to high yield.

Your work environment
You will be part of the research team within Global Markets Research part of ING Commercial Banking. This is an Amsterdam based role.

Who we are looking for?

·  At least 2 years direct credit research experience with an understanding of the relative valuation of credit market products and instruments. Only candidates that can demonstrate a track record in quality research will be considered
·  Experience in high yield or a desire to analyse more challenging leveraged credit is an important part of the role
·  Solid inductive credit analysis skills are essential
·  Strong academics, preferably with accounting qualifications. Progress towards or attainment of the CFA Charter would be highly regarded.
·  Commercial acumen, a strong client focus and an ability to think “outside the square”
·  An ability to work under pressure with flexibility and collegiality
·  Persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal. Written English skills should be excellent
·  Well developed computing skills across a range of financial markets applications.
