Job overview
We have a job opening in the following position:
· HR Officer is responsible for the HR administrations for both ING Bank N.V., Seoul Branch and ING Bank N.V., Seoul Securities Branch. HR Officer supports the Head of HR, Korea by liaising with the regional HR team regarding overall HR tasks including recruitment, employment termination, payroll, compensation & benefits, international assignment, people development and etc.
Duties and responsibilities
As an HR Officer, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:
· To prepare and manage monthly payroll, social securities and income, resident & workshop tax payment by liaising with the external payroll vendor
· To prepare and manage DC Pension settlements by liaising with the external payroll vendor
· To provide provision details on unused holiday and long service award quarterly
· To assist the Head of HR with the annual compensation review such as market survey, data check, letter issuance and etc.
· To ensure the staff performance evaluation is conducted annually
· To support the Head of HR with recruitment, employment termination and other staff changes including job posting, interview arrangement, letter preparation, system update, notice for staff movement, personal document management, etc
· To work on holiday management such as renewal of annual leave entitlement, follow-up of mandatory leave status and leave carry forward
· To handle other staff benefits including medical check-up, renewal of group term-life insurance and long service award
· To coordinate training programs by contacting training vendors, setting up training classes, checking attendances, maintaining training records
· To support international assignees with visa processing, housing, allowance payment and etc.
· To update policies, PIPA consent form as well as renewal agreements or contracts with vendors
· To prepare HR reports including HC report, org. chart and regulatory reports required by internal controllers, auditors, FSS, Labor office and other government agencies
· To manage HR invoice payments
· To issue standard letters such as certificate of employment
· To comply with internal policies & Compliance policy.
What are the skill and qualification requirements of the role?
To be considered for this role, the applicant would ideally possess the following pre-requisites:
· Preferred bachelor's degree in business Administration, Finance or Accounting;
· 1-2 years of work experiences in Human Resources will be an advantage;
· High level of self-motivation and responsibilities;
· Software skill such as MS Excel, Word & Power point
· Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written
· Ability to communicate well and work with people in different department at all levels
· High commitment to assigned roles and jobs with positive problem solving
· High team work spirits.
