SCRIP Intelligence, part of the international Informa Group, has an opportunity for an Editorial Intern for a six month internship. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about developing a career in editorial/journalism to gain valuable experience in a leading pharmaceutical publication. You will gain an understanding of the core processes involved in publishing across both digital and print, providing administrative duties as well getting the opportunity to write and edit for Scrip Intelligence.
Scrip Intelligence is a global subscription-based news service focused on all aspects of the pharmaceuticals industry, including the development of new medicines, business events and regulatory issues.

We provide businesses, professionals, academics, scientists and governments with information so they can act, and ultimately make valuable and profitable decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting the editorial team in the publication of the weekly issue
- Sourcing and writing up news stories for the publication including industry appointments and interviews
- Gathering images for the publication and proofing each edition
- Working with the editorial team on how to best display the content
- Helping to promote Scrip and our reporters via social media including Twitter and LinkedIn
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree educated with a desire to work in business-to-business and/or science journalism/communications
- Excellent writing, numeracy and communication skills, with high attention to detail
- Previous writing experience highly desirable
- Competence with Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
- Strong team skills with the ability to work with variety of personalities
- Time management skills and an ability to perform under pressure
