In your new role you will:

·  Support R&D chip designer with finding solutions for technical issues within mixed signal chip development process with emphasis on analog-digital interface (1st level support)
·  Involve 2nd level support (Center of Competence, IT) and 3rd level Support (EDA vendor) as needed
· Proactively consult projects to ensure proper and efficient usage of design system for chip product development
·  Collect product specific requirements and trigger required design system enhancement to ensure on-time availability of an efficient chip development environment and methodologies
· Contribute to development of new methodologies and support methodology roll out
· Pro-actively share knowledge within (world-wide) design support (‘DAE community')

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

· A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering
·  3+ years of experience in digital / mixed signal chip development or design automation
·  Good English skills with German skills as a plus
· Experience in Asic Flow for Analog Mixed-Signal Design and Verification
· Knowledge of design languages VHDL, System Verilog
· Knowledge of Asic AMS design tools: Cadence (e.g. Virtuoso, Incisive, AMS Designer), Synopsys (e.g. DC, ICC, Primetime), Mentor (e.g. Modelsim, Calibre)
· Experience with Unix and Windows operating systems
· Knowledge of Data Management (e.g. ClearCase, DesignSync)
·  Programming skills (e.g. Perl, Tcl) This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (www.feei.at/kollektivvertraege/kv_tabelle/). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
