***My Luxury car Manufacturer are looking for a Industrial Engineer to join their ever expanding team based in Wolverhampton***
My automotive client are seeking a experienced Industrial Engineer to join their every growing team in Wolverhampton, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate for progression within a luxury automotive company.
Responsibilities -
- Responsible for the development and update of existing headcount analysis tools ( direct and indirect) in order to analyse impact of change on business and prepare summery reports for managers.
- Required to understand methodology applied to calculate headcount and have previous experience using industry standard databases and timings.
- Prepare engineering studies to ensure that work balance timings meet requirements in standard time. Constantly strive to eliminate waste.
- Measure standard time, to pro actively challenge and support the realization of reductions in standard time. Constantly strive to eliminate waste.
- Responsible for successful implementation of SVR process (customer change requests) To include data collection and communication with the customer, headcount study, layout development, cost analysis, communication with operations and support functions.
- Perform analysis on existing delivery methods in order to understand and implement improved delivery solutions.
- Holiday, sickness cover as and when required.
- To attend shift based meetings for example board reviews, Health & safety meetings, shift start up debriefs, and end of shift meetings.
Responsible for daily monitoring of CCAR boards to track open issues. Problem owner must receive regular feedback until issue is closed.
Accountability -
- Full time study of all processes to reflect ILO 100 standard.
- Development and update of headcount analysis tools.
- Responsible for the preparation of consultation packs (work balance summery, timings, layouts)
- Understand the application of the risk assessments in line with changes to the business.
- Implement improved delivery processes and systems
Knowledge Required -
- Ideally degree qualified in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Experienced in lean manufacturing JIT, TPM, 5S, KAIZEN
- Ideally experienced in an automotive/fast paced manufacturing background.
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong Presentation skills.
