OperationsManager
Responsible of all aspects of Store Operations and management of the back of house (delivery process and productivity, stockrooms standards and good replenishment practises)
Reporting to: General Manager and Department Managers
Stock & Sales Management
· To ensure an effective replenishment that complies with the company policy.
· Responsible for the stockrooms organisation (standards, layout, efficiency)
· Responsible for RFID and its devices (PDA's and iPods, a good 25R practices and routine and works alongside with the Commercial team
· Effective, consistent and regular communication with the DMs and GM.
· To manage and oversee the complete delivery process across the three sections and react to unexpected circumstances when necessary.
· To manage delivery productivity in line with Company targets
· Assist the managers to forward plan stockroom initiatives to come up with solutions to overcome capacity issues.
· To support the line manager with the stock take process.
· To be actively involved in the Sale preparation process.
· Responsible for Zara Online storage in store and its Organisation.
Health & Safety
· To ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all areas in the store and to communicate with the management team in case and incident happens
· To be aware of the risks employees and customers are exposed to and to be aware of safe work practices and Company procedures to overcome them
· To know who the appointed First Aiders are in the store and to understand and promote the role of the Safety Champion
HR & Team Management
· To deliver exceptional customer service and drive the team to ensure that minimums are maintained across the store
· To be responsible for the training of the delivery and stockroom teams
· To prepare monthly rotas, daily planners and holidays according to business needs
· To coordinate the Japanese Meetings and encourage staff participation
· To be involved in the recruitment process in the store
· To support the GM in ER policies, payroll & hours management
Experience & Qualifications
· Good knowledge of the company, the brand and the store they are applying for
· Experience managing a fast-paced retail operation (for external candidates) or outstanding performance and accomplishment at INDITEX (for internal candidates)
· Passion for people and processes
· Systematic organised approach to work
· Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
· Passion for fashion, market, competitors and trend awareness
· Knows how to drive sales and can provide examples
· Has lead a stable and consistent career
