Scope:

The payroll specialist will have to enter data and process the payroll of around 2500 employees for the 3 brands we manage in Canada: Zara, Massimo Dutti and Zara Home. The Payroll specialist will report to the Payroll Manager.

Main responsibilities:

·  Entering data and ensuring accuracy into the payroll system

·  Ensure provincial and federal payroll laws are respected at all times

·  Track and update benefits and advantages (insurance, holidays, days off, etc.)

·  Develop different reports that will allow different departments to analyze

·  Answer employees' questions regarding their pay

·  Handle the management of payroll processing, bonuses, commissions and other forms of remuneration (with all its implications).

·  Other administrative activities

Applicants should fulfill the following requirements:

·  Possess a college diploma in administration or related field

·  Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll

·  Knowledge of computer tools (e.g. word, excel)

·  Be comfortable working with short deadlines

·  Good knowledge of the Cerdian pay system: Insync (asset)

·  Internal controls and management

·  Autonomous / Resourceful

·  Good communicator

·  Able to treat information confidentially (ethical way)

·  Schedule from Monday to Friday

·  Speak and write fluently French, English

·  Spanish (asset)
