Logistics Manager for Zara.com

Zara is an international brand established in more than 93 countries and has over 2000 stores worldwide.

We are currently seeking dynamic a Logistics Manager for our E-Commerce department based in Montreal. As part of the Zara.com logistics team, the Logistics Manager will be responsible for optimizing the e-commerce logistics chain in Canada, ensuring the correct implementation of policies and procedures, and compliance with the established budget and deadlines.

Main Tasks

Distribution Center Management

·  Search for suppliers, deployment of operations, monitoring and management of operations

·  KPI analysis and definition and implementation of improvement plans

·  Planning, analysis and improvement of processes and procedures

·  Communication with corporate logistics and transportation departments, the commercial department, and customer service

·  Monitoring compliance with deadlines, quality, budgets, etc.

·  Flow control / Lean Management

·  Team management (in-house and outsourced)

Required Skills

·  University degree preferable: Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field

·  3-4 years experience in e-commerce Logistics project management: Operations, Distribution Center Management and supplier management

·  Very strong communication Skills

·  Ability to plan, analyze and resolve conflicts, handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations

·  Ability to work as a team member and manage and outsourced teams.

·  Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons

·  Flexibility, proactive and initiative

·  Fluent in English and French

·  Availability to travel frequently (on a weekly basis to Toronto)
