Job description

The Facilities Manager (General Services) main purpose is to oversee all of the technical, repairs, maintenance, small construction projects, and energy management of our retail locations located in the region including the office and warehouses. Responsibilities include the following:

·  Manage and maintain stores image standards.

·  Manage, supervise and coordinate work of subcontractors.

·  Prepare documents to put out tenders for subcontractors/suppliers and negotiate revisions, changes and additions.

·  Creates, manages and monitors necessary work for all assigned stores in Work Order Management System.

·  Coordinate the stores requests' of materials, repairs and deliveries.

·  Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.

·  Oversee the running of several projects.

·  Manage and execute building improvements and projects in existing stores.

·  Perform post construction walks thru of new stores in the region to ensure proper standards and identify any warranty opportunities.

·  Review and authorize invoices. Reconcile invoices with accounts payable to ensure discrepancies are resolve.

·  Manage and be accountable for the yearly budget in the region to ensure that aims, goals, and objectives are accomplished in accordance with outline priorities, with time limitations and funding conditions without compromising the image of the company.

·  Provide after hour service (support) to our locations.

·  Moderate travel to support the stores when needed in region.

Skill Set & Requirements:

·  Bachelor's degrees and/or equivalent years of industry experience.

·  Minimum 2 years of experience in facility management.

·  Construction or mechanical background preferred

·  Detail oriented and organized.

·  Proficient at analyzing schematics, wiring diagrams, blue prints, troubleshooting charts and other reference materials.

·  Working knowledge of County, City and State regulations and code compliances.

·  Strong analytical, prioritizing, problem-solving skills.

·  Strong attention to detail, meet deadlines and ability to multitask.

·  Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast- paced and deadline-oriented environment.

·  Computer skills needed (i.e.: Outlook, Excel, CAD)
