Job description

Imperial Candles, is looking for a creative, organised, adaptive, and deadline-sensitive creative/digital designer to join our team and help maintain our existing brand.

Design Responsibilities:

  • Designing / developing packaging for new line or existing products
  • Design brochures/ business cards/ catalogues/flyers and any other printed material that the company may need
  • Handling all promotional campaigns/offers on our social media platforms (Facebook / Twitter / Instagram / Pinterest )
  • Photography editing for photos uploaded on our website, on our media platform or for printed magazines .

Skills:

  • Experience in a range of software and design packages including Adobe Suites (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and PowerPoint;
  • Experience in a similar Creative Design role;
  • A Diploma or Degree in graphic design, fine art or a related subject, it will be an advantage but not mandatory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work as an efficient, reliable and flexible team member.

Requirements:

  • A portfolio reflecting your style, previous or personal work is required and needs to be presented during your interview
  • Drawing skills are very important for you to be considered for this role

Imperial Candles is a growing company that manufactures soy wax candles with a piece of jewellery hidden inside.
