Illumina Cambridge are currently searching for a TA Coordinator for our site at Granta Park, Great Abington on an initial 6 month temporary basis, but due to Illumina's consistent, rapid growth this is likely to extend. You will be part of our EMEA Talent Acquisition team of 6, working closely with our other Coordinator and the Recruiters.

Job Description

The TA Coordinator works closely with Staffing Management and a team of recruiters to assist in logistics and administrative support, scheduling, coordinating and document preparation/filing. This position has heavy interaction/communication with Hiring Managers and potential candidates. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for contacting candidates, scheduling interviews, arranging candidate travel, on-site account management, troubleshooting and expediting expense reimbursement, assisting in job fairs, and managing special projects as assigned.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates interviews and extensive travel arrangements
  • Manages the final stages of the recruitment life-cycle process which includes finalizing offer letters, preparing offer packets, closing candidate records within applicant tracking system (Virtual Edge) and on-boarding of new employees on their first day.
  • Maintains all applicant paperwork, ensuring that all paperwork has been gathered and that all compliance issues are met with regards to the recruitment process.
  • Conducts Reference Checks, Phone Screens and Sourcing as needed.
  • Assists in coordination of University recruiting and Internship programs. Coordinates contractor administration, to include vendor administration and contractor tracking.
  • Ensure EEO data is gathered within applicant tracking system.
  • Compile and distribute weekly email communication newly opened position to company.

Preferred Educational Background:

  • Qualifications BA degree or the equivalent combination of experience and education.


Preferred Experiential Background:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources/Recruiting or related experience.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, high performance environment. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
