About you
You are a creative thinker with an eye for aesthetics. You have a deep passion, curiosity and understanding of home furnishing and people's everyday life at home. You have a higher education in visual merchandising and experience of retail and you have a practical hands-on approach to working in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the job
As a part of the store visual merchandise/activity team you use your knowledge of people's life at home and home furnishing competence to present and communicate the IKEA product range in ways that make it attractive and relevant to your local market. You also support customer self-choice in the IKEA store and the IKEA mechanical sales system.

About the assignment
As Visual Merchandise/Activity Co-worker you will together with the Communication and Interior design team with 31 highly competent colleges provide commercial home furnishing solutions for a single product or a combination of products. You will constantly show new and inspiring home furnishing solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store more frequently. Through your visual merchandising and display technique competence in different store media and activity areas, you will show the uniqueness of the IKEA product range. By using the store layout you create a good product overview and a strong visual impact that facilitates the buying process.
