About us
The Indirect Taxes and Environmental Reporting department based in Pratteln supports the global IKEA Supply Chain in all related compliance matters. We are now looking for a new team member to support us in fulfilling our compliance obligations in various countries.

About the assignment
As VAT accountant your tasks include:
- Preparation and submission of relevant returns
- Reconciliation of related accounts
- Preparation and monitoring of payments and cash flow positions
- Support the local accounting departments with operational VAT questions

About you
For this role we believe that it is important that you:
- are able to cope with deadlines
- have strong analytical skills
- have good communication skills
- are able to handle change

We expect you to have an educational background in accounting (Fachhochschule or university studies on a Bachelor level) and basic knowledge of VAT. You are also fluent in English (additional European languages are an advantage) and are used to work with Excel. At IKEA, we know that work is only one part of your life.
