About the job (your work & tasks) :
The purpose of the job is to secure excellence in logistical operational performance, and its further development, in close cooperation and alignment with all relevant supply chain stakeholders; contributing to reaching customer perceived availability at the lowest total cost (considering impacts of quality, safety, service performance, sustainability and other supply chain costs).
Also you will secure and continuously improve service provider's (SP) operational performance in all respects (as defined by set of relevant KPIs) within an agreed frame/conditions, and maximize the optimization potential related to SP's production costs - in close cooperation with business partners and relevant supply chain stakeholders within Transport & Logistics Services (TLS), mainly with Logistical Operations Developer function.

More information about your tasks:

·  Secure logistical operational performance from end-to-end perspective [assignment with specific focus on sender or receiver] as it is defined by respective set of KPIs/PIs (e.g. OTD); within given geographical scope. Follow-up and implement actions within existing and new delivery solutions
·  Align with supply chain stakeholders on Area level to secure logistical operational performance, as well as create preconditions for smooth and efficient transport production. Set and maintain regular communication forums, proactively search for improvements in cooperation, contribute to create understanding within supply chain regarding expectations, needs and preconditions with total cost in mind
·  Lead their implementation (e.g. new routes) in alignment with relevant stakeholders and in close cooperation with Production Developers. Evaluates (e.g. Transit-/Non-Transit) and provides feedback to Regional Flow Optimization Specialist. Follow-up and adjust Lead Times based on OTD performance
·  Secures SP's operational performance in all respects (as defined by relevant KPIs, in relation to capacity, precision, qualitative parameters, claims, safety, etc); identifies, monitors & implements relevant actions
·  Together with SP and internal supply chain stakeholders in TLS secures optimal usage of agreed/available transport capacity vs planned/needed capacity. Secures low share of spot bookings. Actively works with capacity forecasting (mid- and short-term), identifies SP's production constraints due to peaks, volume fluctuations, etc. and, together with supply chain stakeholders in TLS finds optimal solutions leading to securing needed capacity at lowest total cost
·  Contributes to SP's management and development by supporting, respectively, transport purchasing process. Supports BD with Tender/other procurement activity's preparation & implementation. Contributes with local operational and market knowledge (e.g. Safety Standards). Handles contract administration.  
It is essentials that you have:

·  The IKEA values reflect personal values
·  Minimum 7 years of logistics experience mainly on leading operation process

·  2+ years of supplier relation management experience is preferred
·  Enjoys interacting with many different people and networks from within and outside IKEA and utilises their contribution to the goal that has been set
·  Good knowledge of functions within IKEA Supply Chain and how they contribute to the process
·  Good Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Logistics
·  Good knowledge in sup. chain operations or transport planning & production
·  Good knowledge about how to build and evaluate fact-based business cases.
·  Capability of Leading and steering
·  Experience in Logistical Performance and developing of win-win throughout the entire supply chain
·  Experience in leading inter-organisational working groups on local level
·  Has True interest in business and developing win-win business set-ups
