Operations & Shared Services (OSS) is part of IKEA Business Solutions with the common goals to enable large programs as well as fast, innovative customer focused projects while safeguarding running business.
Our task is to keep the lights on today and build the IT landscape for tomorrow, enabling IKEA to meet the many people! We do that by securing the daily IT operations for IKEA, delivering shared test- and integration services and infrastructure expertise and supporting IKEA co-workers 24/7.
About the assignment
As a Technical Analyst DBA, you will be part of and involved in managing our big Oracle database landscape, including resource utilization, tuning and consolidation. In this position you get the opportunity to be involved in discussions with the different projects regarding their needs and guide them to a suitable database platform & configuration to secure their needs. You will also be working together with the Oracle Product Specialist to create new platforms and secure our deliveries.
We believe that you have deep knowledge of maintaining and supporting Oracle database and are probably familiar with related Oracle technologies such as RAC, Data Guard and RMAN.
You also have some developer skills in Bash, PL/SQL and experience in automation tools e.g. Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc. to work in infrastructure automation. Working experience with cloud deliveries is an added advantage.

This is a permanent, full-time position to be filled as soon as possible. You will be working in both Älmhult and Helsingborg in Sweden and you can have your base in either of the cities.
Älmhult has excellent commuting possibilities with hourly trains to Malmö, Lund and Växjö and an IKEA shuttle bus back and forth to Helsingborg two times a day.
