About the job

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Supply BA Team Leader leads, coaches and develops a team who works on a regional level (Asia Pacific, Europe or North America) securing the product availability to the final customer at lowest possible Supply Chain costs, by driving and adding value to the replenishment process from Suppliers and Distribution Centers to Stores.

ASSIGNMENTS:

 Responsible to secure availability (service level) of all products in our stores at lowest supply chain cost - including global and country activities

 Responsible to be the information bridge between IOS, Retail, Trading and DS connecting to securing availability on a regional level

 Responsible to initiate actions in order to maintain a healthy stock levels in the region

 Responsible to initiate actions in order to ensure an efficient range change process

 Responsible to initiate and lead actions to meet defined business goals

 Secure the understanding, implementation and evaluation of working methods, routines and supply and logistic action plans

 Contribute to operational excellence and work with best practice within your own and across the Regional Supply Teams

 Establish and develop partnership with regional and global supply chain partners in order to reach common goals and objectives

 Contribute in creating, developing and executing global and local action plans in line with the future organizational and business direction

 Lead the team by example, coaching and motivating co-workers, enabling them to grow and achieve excellent results

 Support and execute the ideals of IKEA Human Resource Idea and People Strategy in regards to recruitment, training, development and leadership of the Regional Supply Team

 Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers

 Inspire and engage the co-workers to understand their role and contribution for IKEA to become the Leader in Life at Home

 Assume responsibility, take the lead for other tasks, projects and reference groups as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE:

 University Degree (Supply Chain, Logistics or Business preferred) or equivalent

 3-5 years experience within IKEA, mainly in the area of Supplying process

 Knowledge of other IKEA organizations and how they work, including matrix partners and networks

 Understanding of the Creating the Offer, Communication and Selling process

 Understanding of the IKEA concept, our vision, business idea, culture and values

 Fluent in English, both written and spoken, other languages are an advantage
