How is the job?

You will ensure that the IKEA store provides a vibrant and exciting atmosphere that convinces the visitors to come back for more visits. You will apply your skills and knowledge to create and develop the visual appearance of commercial and aesthetic range presentation solutions to strengthen the IKEA store's position as the leading Home Furnishing Specialist in our local market. You will support in developing strategies within the Communication and Interior Designing team and range presentation solutions in the store. You will be responsible for your own progress as well as assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur. You contribute to the content of the department action plan with initiatives that will grow the business and support long-term profitability and execute the agreed plans together with the Communication and Interior Designing team and other functions.

Who are you?

You have at least 3 years of Interior Designing experience in the retail industry. You have knowledge of interior design and home furnishing trends with a flair for colour, form and function. You are able to conceptualize and execute in-store projects. You have interest in life at home and how people are live with a good perspective drawing and sketching skills. You are a person who is creative, commercial and a visual expert with a keen eye for aesthetics. Cheerful, outgoing with a positive attitude, responsible, motivated and flexible. You have strong passion for interior design and able to visually and verbally express and present solutions. Service oriented with customers' interest at heart and ensuring that visitors perceive the IKEA store as being a source of inspiration, tips and ideas as well as a qualified Home Furnishing Specialist providing home furnishing solutions.
