STORE GRAPHIC COMMUNICATION LEADER

ABOUT THE JOB
As the store graphic communication leader, you are responsible for ensuring all graphic communication in and outside of the IKEA store complies with the IKEA visual and copy identity guidelines. You also actively share your expertise in graphic design with your team to ensure the uniqueness of the IKEA Brand visually stands out to distance the IKEA store from the competition.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
·  contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
·  taking the lead role in managing and implementing the complete range of store communication, together with your team.
·  applying your extensive knowledge and understanding of people’s life at home and their buying behavior to improve graphic communication inside and outside of the IKEA store to facilitate the buying process.
·  ensuring the IKEA graphic communication is clear, consistent, understandable, uncluttered, and correctly placed.
·  creating and implementing graphic solutions that support commercial priorities by using your graphic design skills, the IKEA Concept, and the IKEA visual and copy identity. YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
·  a solid background of working in a graphic communications team within an IKEA company, an advertising agency, or retail design environment.
·  at least 2 years experience working in graphic communication, (social) media and typography.
·  computer proficient with extensive experience of using graphic design software and production tools.
·  a deep passion, curiosity, and understanding of home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home.
·  taking responsibility and performing as an inspiring and motivating leader.
·  a desire to seek out opportunities that improve the way we work, daring to take decisions and taking a strategic and pro-active approach. GROWING TOGETHER
