Job description

What you'll need to have

• One year of experience in warehouse receiving, shipping and picking functions
• Knowledge of IKEA Systems preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Responsible, self-motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency
• Be a dynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
• A clear understanding of, and a passion for IKEA values and principles
• Communicate and partner with co-worker’s across all levels of the organization
• Use creative problem-solving skills in conjunction with IKEA’s co
• Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-worker’s and customers.
• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned
• Must be able to work at elevated heights

What you'll be doing day to day

• Perform routine cycle counts, conduct inbound, and outbound shipment audits
• Works with Stock Control department to support overall IKEA inventory routines
• Improve the accuracy and integrity of our inventory
• Coach co-workers with stock control procedures and process are being followed
• Process daily ship zero report including counting of addresses
• Process daily stock control paperwork and requests
• Document and process all missing articles
