Who you are
• Implement people planning strategy at the Unit level, following the IKEA’s Global guidelines.
• Implement the Unit’s people planning process: from forecasting to the execution of the schedule. You will ensure that scheduled hours will include planned absences and liaising on the development of final schedules with department managers.
• Identify possible improvements in the people planning process in terms of Staff costs.
• Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to ensure the cover of the correct amount of worked hours in the Store, by ensuring right contract type and preconditions to fill the vacancies.
What you'll be doing day to day
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships with stakeholders of different seniority levels within the store.
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills to relate with different stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of Excel and the ability to manage and analyze data by generating reports.
• Analytical and data-driven approach combined to a strong problem-solving ability.
• The aptitude to renew, improve, and embrace the change exploiting new business and growth opportunities.
• Proactivity: you’d easily take initiatives and responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly in Italian and English.
