What you'll be doing day to day
Requirements:
• Proven experience working in Firewalls, Firewall management and orchestration tools
• Knowledge and experience in Network security (e.g., Firewall access rules/policies)
• Experience working with network segmentation plan
• Lead the DevOps team
• Have experience working with Private Data Centre Network Infrastructure
• Knowledge / experience in Automation (Ansible, Python)
• Have knowledge or experience in Cloud environment
Responsibilities:
• Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Firewall Orchestration Service i.e., a DevOps team with network, firewall and automation skilled resources to achieve the product vision
• Responsible for developing and supporting the assigned Product or Service using the right toolsets required in order to deliver according to requirements
• Design, develop and deliver a technology service through automation and self-service capabilities for efficiency, availability, and usability
• Ensure and review systems compliance towards legislations, policies, or other requirements in order to stay compliant
• Take the lead in change activities in different environments in order to secure functionality and availability, coaching other team members through the process
• Lead in promoting and advocating good engineering practices within an agile/iterative development approach in order to improve time to market
Together as a team
There are four engineering teams responsible for network development and operations within our Network Organization. We have 30+ resources in the Network organization, spread across three countries. In this position, you will be a member of one of the Network organization's engineering teams, which will consist of 5 IKEA coworkers.
We are based in Sweden (Helsingborg, Älmhult), China (Shanghai) and USA (Philadelphia) and we see a mix of local and remote work is as a natural way of working. We have an open and growth mindset. Together we will grow.
