IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduce 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

Solution Owner in Solution Area – Order & Delivery within the Delivery & Settlement team

Our Supplying system landscape is grouped into different Solution Areas and today the Solution Area “Order & Delivery” supports more than 15 000 users throughout Supplying in the areas of Order, Customs and Delivery & Settlement. In order to support our growth, we are now looking for a Solution Owner.
As part of the new IT strategy to move from the current Transport Management Network System CNS (Cargo Network System) to a standard software, one main initiative is in the area of Delivery & Settlement, Supplying Transport Management Solution, STMS, developing and implementing IKEA Transport Management, ITM.

As a Solution Owner you will support the Delivery & Settlement team in Dortmund, working with CNS but also being part of the development of ITM. You will be part of the transition from CNS to ITM and all needed activities for a handover from the STMS project. After the handover you will be responsible for leading and securing optimal utilisation of the new solution and support development of IT-related business needs within Delivery & Settlement.

Your assignment is to…

·  Ensure that the users of the solution have a relevant, user friendly and reliable solution that helps them achieve their business goals. The Solution Owner has the best knowledge within IKEA of the solution from a functionality/business perspective.
·  Be accountable for solution business development, release management, life cycle management and the operation of the solution(s), business continuity and business support.
·  Lead continuous improvement of the solution(s).
·  Be responsible to create and maintain a solution roadmap.
·  Manage budget for the assigned solution(s), provide budget input for the solution area, follow up & review forecasts and accruals.
·  Lead/participate in governance forums
·  Solution (e.g. Change Control Board)
·  Supplier (Software and/or Application Maintenance and Support vendors)
·  Secure established ways of working for the solution(s).
·  Manage key stakeholder expectations through strong relationships. Interact with super users, process and business functions, Application Maintenance & Support vendors and software suppliers (tactical & operational discussions), Operations & Shared Service, Architecture and other relevant functions.
·  Responsible for solution compliance with rules and standards (e.g. information security) and legal/regulatory requirements as well as adherence to relevant delivery process standards.
·  Secure competence development and training related to your solutions
·  Secure and maintain Super User network

During the implementation phase of the solution development you will work closely with the projects, which are based in Helsingborg and frequent travelling will be required.

You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build trustful relationships.You have also a desire to share knowledge and develop people and competences for a better IKEA.We think that you have an ability to influence and lead other people i.e. working through others.You network with people both internally and externally.

Business Solutions Range & Supply consists of approximately 230 co-workers based in different legal units globally all across Range & Supply. We have our main hubs in Älmhult, Helsingborg, Dortmund and Pratteln.This position will, preferably, be based in Dortmund or Helsingborg.
