· I Register children into the ballroom based on current criteria
· I Interact with and monitor the playtime of the children
· I Maintain level of supplies in the ballroom area as required
· I Advise manager when supplies need to be ordered or equipment needs to be repaired
· In conjunction with Housekeeping, I ensure ballroom/baby care room criteria for cleanliness is maintained
· I Communicate to managers on issues/concerns/incidences with regard to safety and security of the children
· Iam helpful and friendlyinmy approachtomy customers, alwaysaimingforawin-winsituationandfor repeat business.
· Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur
· Iam empoweredtosolve customer complaintswithin my level ofauthorisation.Irecognise whenIneedtoescalate anissue andthenpass ontherelevant informationto amanager for him/herto beabletodeal effectivelywiththecustomer.
· Ioffer solutionstofrequentlyaskedquestions. This helpsto makeabetter futureshoppingexperience for everyone.
· Iensurethe IKEAstore isasafe andsecure environment atall timesforvisitorsandcolleagues.
· I listen to feedback from customers when it is given and pass this on to my manager.
· I work with my manager to identify solutions to customer issues.

You Have/Are:
· Experience of customer focus and customer service;
· Good at quickly building rapport with people from different (cultural) backgrounds;
· Ability to work alone but also as a team player;
· A flexible approach/open to change;
· Computer literate;
· First Aid/CPR certification;
· Previous child care experience preferred;
· Experienceofworking inahigh volume andfast-paced retail environment is preferred;
· Ability to prioritise and organise own work to make efficient use of time available;
· Ability to handle several tasks at the same time;
