ABOUT THE JOB
The Facility Management function provides support to IKEA core business throughout the building life cycle; and to support sustainable business development to the lowest possible long-term cost.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include
Customers
• I deliver site-based facility management services to ensure a sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for customers.
• I maintain the site “In Shape as New” through the delivery of planned, corrective and operational maintenance services and project activities.
• I provide facility management services, and maintain assets and buildings, in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations.
People
• I contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is strong and where the diversity of our customers and co-workers is valued.
• I embrace an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive, honest two-way feedback with my colleagues.
• I take responsibility for the development of my performance.
• I assume responsibility for my own development and look to my manager for support in improving my competencies.
• I actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with colleagues to understand how, together, we can contribute to sustainability.
• I identify my own professional development needs and participate in annual self assessments to review development opportunities.
• I undertake other tasks and projects as reasonably instructed by the Site Facility Manager.
Financial
 I agree and deliver assigned KPIs for my role.
 I understand the impact of my actions on the financial results of Facility Management and know which results I have influence over.
 I assist in controlling costs through working in a lean, simple and cost-conscious way using good examples and encouraging colleagues to discover more effective ways of working.
 I ensure that all aspects of the building and grounds (facilities, building structures, assets and systems) are maintained within agreed budgeted costs and timeframes.
 I provide assistance to external service providers as required to enable them to perform their contracted services, and provide feedback to Site Facility Manager on supplier issues.
 I utilise the CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) system to view, record and update daily maintenance and service activities, record risk incidents, raise work requests, and maintain the asset register.

CAPABILITY/SKILL:
 Technical knowledge, and practical experience, in facility systems; including electrical and lighting, mechanical and HVAC, structural, site, building automation and energy management.
 High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
 Fluency in written and spoken local language.
 Basic level knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
 Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills.
 Ability to work in a self-directed environment to resolve problems and to complete complex tasks within deadlines and financial constraints.
