ABOUT THE JOB
Purpose
Family friendly is a year-round commitment of IKEA store. Visiting the IKEA store with children should be pleasant and stimulating, engaging for visitors of all ages. The ease-of –shopping should make it natural for people to visit the IKEA store with children again and again. Succeeding in this task creates huge potential to stimulate visitors to spend more time n the IKEA store and to repeat their visits more often. The Entrance & Smaland Manager take responsibilities of family friendly and How to Shop issues.
Mandate
The entire IKEA store must have a distinct family friendly feel and opening hours must be such that the entire family has the opportunity to visit the store together. The shopping should be fun and surprising and offer something for all members of the family. Visitors must feel that they are important to the IKEA store and that co-workers care about them. The Entrance & Smalland Manager take responsibilities and must achieve these goals:
·Easy and convenient shopping
·A natural and easy-to-find route through the store
·Smaland should always be a free , staffed play facility for children.
·Family friendly is a red threat throughout the store.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
· Family friendly is a red threat throughout the store.
·Smaland should always be a free, staffed play facility for children.
·Secure the mandatory facilities are implemented in the store.
·Work with commercial calendar to ensure that families will find reasons to visit the IKEA store several times throughout the year.
Shopping tools management
·Provide right shopping tools in right place when customer need.
·Take the active responsibility to manage the sub-contractor in a good way in align with the agreement in service contract
Secure in-store Customer Guidance
·Work with Com-in team to improve in-store Customer Guidance according to customers feedback
·Clean and maintenance.
Team management & People Development
·Responsible for developing the annual business plan with the store management team in regards to own department and areas of responsibility
·Operate the department according to systems, methods and guidelines stated in IKEA Concept Documentation by having a high knowledge about IKEA Manuals and Rules & Guidelines
·People Development YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· Knowledge
·Have a minimum of 1-2 years retail service or customer service experiences
·Have management experience of team with a minimum headcount of 5-10 persons
·Having experience with external service providers and solid networking and negotiation skills is a prefer
