Shopkeeper
We are welcoming applications for the position of Shopkeeper within our Home Organisation Department.
IKEA shopkeepers have one of the most dynamic and rewarding positions in an IKEA store. Your challenge will be to optimise sales and profitability within a shop and store by leading and inspiring your team and combining your knowledge of the IKEA product range with your knowledge of the local market and the needs of customers.
You will be an experienced leader who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and works well at pace with a commercial flair. You will be an authentic and values led individual who will inspire our co-workers and customers and sustain a fantastic customer experience.
Essential for the role:
· Retail experience
· A passion for home furnishings and creating a wonder everyday for our customers
· Customer focus
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
· Ability to lead and develop co-workers
· Ability to influence and communicate effectively Preferential for the role:
· Previous experience of being in the role, or a comparative role. This role is for a 39 hour vacancy, working 5 days out of 7. You will be expected to work 24 Saturdays and 24 Sundays per year, not including holiday use, and a minimum of 1 late shift per week.

Starting Salary £22,564
