About you:

• You will have more than 3-years’ experience within product management
• Ideally you have worked with complex digital marketing products, perhaps within digital media or advertising
• You have extensive knowledge of product discovery techniques and delivering successful and innovative consumer experiences
• You are data-driven and lean on quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to guide your decisions on product direction
• Ideally you have a good understanding of retail and a curiousness about where the future of digital retail is headed
• You are driven, but with a collaborative mindset. “You don’t win unless your team wins”
• You are highly organized, with strong communication skills and like to work in complex environments
• You are a “do-er”, willing to work hands-on including stepping in to work directly with the development team
• You are a change agent helping us build a customer-centric world-class product development culture
• Ideally, you have experience working with digital media in a physical environment

A day in your life with us

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to own the products of Digital Signage and Engagement within the PMP portfolio, being used globally across IKEA stores. We expect you to play an important part in making sure that our Digital Signage and related engagement products for consumers help guide and inspire ideas for a better life at home. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct and significant impact on one of the world’s biggest and most innovative retail brands.

The Physical Meeting Points domain covers the wide range of experiences and platforms that our co-workers use to support the customer’s shopping journey in IKEA stores as well as the digital products our customers use during their visit. This includes customer and co-worker experiences that we create with resources inside and outside of your own domain span. It includes all channels and everything from customer-facing channels down to operational platforms that keep our company running.

Reporting to the Product Manager you will:

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Digital Signage & Engagement products within Physical Meeting Points ensuring that the delivery of outcomes meets objectives
• Own and actively manage the digital product backlog and prioritizing items based on customer needs and business goals
• Contribute to prioritisation of the overall roadmap and product strategy of in store digital touchpoints
• Partner closely with UX, data, and engineering teams from discovery to delivery
• Providing insight, context and additional information as needed to help the team to understand what is required in the discovery and delivery processes
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders and ensure alignment between cross functional teams and across domains
• Coach and grow the product team to a high-performing empowered team that develops products that our customers love

This role is based in our new digital hub in Madrid, Spain
