Who you are

Are you looking for a challenging internship in the field of Product Category management or Commercial management in an Omnichannel environment, supporting the daily management of one of our product categories, performing data analyses on sales and returns, and providing recommendations based on your analyses?

Besides the fact that you recognize yourself in our values, have a passion for home furnishing and are eager to further develop yourself and IKEA, you meet the following requirements:
- You are following a relevant education (WO Bachelor / HBO) and you are looking for an internship starting in September 2022
- You like to work in a dynamic and busy environment where no day is the same
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You are an enthusiastic and proactive person. It is also important that you can work accurately and independently;
- You are assertive and not afraid to ask questions and give your opinion;
- You are eager to learn and able to link theory to practice.

Your responsibilities

You will work together and integrate in our Selling/Commercial team. This team is located in Haarlem, in our Service Office. You will have an experienced mentor to guide and support you during your time with us. You will have the opportunity to learn and use new tools, develop your analytics and communication skills.

The focus is:
- Secure our products category perform according to goals. Your contribution is to ensure products guide lines are update and shared with all stake holders.
- Secure our customers can buy in a seamless way. Your contribution is to analyze internal performance and customers insights ensuring that solutions are found.
- Secure action plan initiatives are developed and implemented. Your contribution, by joining a project team with a dedicated assignment, is to conduct a deep dive into the topic and provide recommendations to move the topic forward.
