To develop sales in an efficient and effective way in all media in order to attract more customers to come more often and buy more. We do this by optimising our sales priorities, commercial activities and ensuring the right forecasts for our total offer.
Our main responsibilities are developing and executing sales steering, selling the IKEA way, range grouping, pricing, range management and launches. This ensures an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping and buying experience, which leads to increased sales and sustained long-term profitability.
As a Sales Developer you have the ability to create sustainable growth, profitability and customer value in a multichannel environment within your business through developing the business and people together. You will work closely with shopkeepers to ensure they understand the business, optimise sales and GM, and how best to present the range in a commercial and consumer relevant way.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
· communicate the 3 years growth plan, encourage and support the implementation.
· responsible to develop and to update sales solutions and shop based on customer and business needs.
· work on the integration of all sales channels in a multichannel driven company.
· analyse individual store performance/ customer feedback.
· cooperation with the stores and shopkeepers to develop people and business together on the shopfloor.
· ensuring all new developments are taken in new stores and rebuild projects.
· encourage shopkeepers to work as a team, networking between stores and share good examples.
· ensure product and sales trainings for the business.
YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
· at least 3 years experience working as a manager in the business within sales, preferably Kitchen.
· need to have understanding of IKEA commercial, range and business directions and strategies
· deep and clear understanding of roles & responsibilities in commercial team process
· strong leadership capabilities
· good communicative skills and ability to share knowledge and results
· passion for Home Furnishing
· excellent networking skills
· customer in focus
· strong ability to work in a structured and organised way
· fluentin English, both spokenand written
· This position is permanent
· National rules of relocation if necessary
