successful relationships at all levels of the business. You lead by example and ensure the day-to-day operations are secured by coordinating the team, setting priorities, and delegating responsibility when needed. You can organise your work and the work of others, while delivering exceptional customer service. You also have a desire to grow with the business and take pride in your own development. You must have full-time availability to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including up to 3 out of 4 weekends.
Your responsibilities
As Sales Coordinator in Market Hall or Showroom, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operation of the team and provide feedback on team performance to the Sales Department Manager.
• Lead by example and support the team to maximise sales and provide a positive customer experience.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with the team and other stakeholders across departments.
• Share specialist knowledge of the IKEA product range, services and tools to secure a high level of competence within the team whilst demonstrating a willingness to take on additional responsibility in this area.
• Encourage the team to actively sales steer the department’s top-selling products, prioritised products and IKEA service products in order to maximise sales and long-term profitability.
• Take initiative and be proactive with keeping the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked. Ensure that the IKEA basic merchandising standards are always in place to give customers a positive shopping experience.

With the Sales department leading the customer shopping experience, not only do we need to have extensive knowledge of the IKEA product range but we’re constantly finding new ways of making real connections with our customers to maximise sales and profitability within the IKEA Vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people!

These roles are Temporary Full Time, 76hs/fortnight (12 months) and Permanent Full Time, 76hrs/fortnight.
